Google Pixel 2 Review Pros and Cons: Highest Rated Camera Phone

Review of Google Pixel 2 at a Glance:-

Google Pixel was one of the fastest and best photo producing Android Smartphone in 2016. now its successor Google Pixel 2 is launched with multiple improvements, Here we have gathered key advantages and disadvantages along with the precise review. The highlighted features of the phone are 5.0 inches FHD AMOLED always on display, Android 8.0 (Oreo) OS, Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chipset, 12.2 MP primary | 8 MP Secondary Camera, 64/128 GB Internal | No SD Card support | 4 GB RAM and 2700 mAh battery.

Clean Design
All the major brands are continuously innovating the design but the Pixel 2 looks quite old fashioned, However, it is true that the metallic build quality of the smartphone is compact and sturdy. Personally, we don't like the unwanted large bezels, especially on the top and bottom. although these bezels are housing the High-definition stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience. Last year Google is mocking the Apple for removing the 3.5mm audio jack from the iPhone but surprisingly this year Google also removed the 3.5mm jack. The volume rocker and power button are placed on the right edge, bottom housing the USB Type-C slot.
FHD AMOLED Display
The phone comes up with 5.0 inches FHD AMOLED capacitive touchscreen having features like Always-on display and 95% DCI-P3 coverage. Here we are expecting the 2K (2560×1440) resolutions for better VR experience but they are providing only FHD (1920x1080). The visuals in the phone are quite sharp and vibrant with 100000:1, super contrast ratio. The text, pictures, and videos are pleasant for eyes. It is featuring  ‘Always on display' where notifications can be seen in monochrome at all times. For protection, the front panel is covered with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Camera: Excellent in Quality
The camera quality is one the best thing associated with the pixel smartphones. All the flagship nowadays comes up with Dual Camera setup for primary shooter despite having “only” a single-camera design it capable of taking equal or even better photographs than Apple iPhone 8 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. They have added optical image stabilization (OIS) and a much wider f/1.8 aperture that makes dynamic range and controlled noise in the low light area. Although it is not good in taking pictures with bokeh effect and blur effect as compared to dual camera flagship phones. It can also record 1080p videos with 120fps and 720p videos with 240fps. Overall the picture quality of the front, as well as rear camera in this phone, can beat any smartphone currently available in the market.
Lightning Fast Performance
Original Pixel was the fastest Android phone with the best camera, now you can expect even better performance with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 in this smartphone. as according to official website it is 35% smaller and uses 25% less power than previous designs so here definitely you will get a lightning-fast performance and multitasking. This CPU along with 4GB RAM and stock Android enhances the speed in graphically heavy rendering. It can be one of the best option for gaming, as along with ultra-fast performance it also has stereo speakers.

Battery Capacity
The power department is not equally impressive as other feature, it has only 2700 mAh battery. CPU is however 25% more power efficient. A moderate to heavy user can easily use the phone for a full day in single charge. you’ll also get up to 7 hours of battery life from just a 15-minute charge.

Why to buy and Final words about Google Pixel 2:-

When it comes to quality of features pixel 2 is one of the best smartphone available in the market, the design is not in our like list but the display visuality, smooth user experience, and camera performance even in low light are excellent. The CPU can play all the heavyweight games and apps. The original Pixel was missing the dust and water resistant body but Google added these features in this handset. Battery capacity is slightly a weaker point but the efficiency of the chipset makes it better. under the same budget, you can go for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Apple iPhone 8.
