YU Yunique 2 Review Pros & Cons: Ultra Budget Smartphone

Review of YU Yunique 2 at a Glance:-

Yu Televentures launched its one of the most affordable Smartphone in India to compete with Chinese counterparts. Here we have extracted the main Advantages and Disadvantages of YU Yunique 2. The key features of this device are 5.0 inches HD Display, Android v7.0 (Nougat) OS, MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core CPU, 13 MP Primary | 5 MP Secondary Camera, 16 GB Internal | 64 GB SD Card Support | 2 GB RAM and 2500 mAh battery.

Faux-metallic Plastic Built
The rear panel of smartphone is made of plastic with the faux-metallic textured finish having gently smooth curves in the corners. Overall device looks pleasant in hand. The size bezels of the phone are quite narrow but the top and bottom bezels are relatively large that makes unwelcomed 65.4% screen-to-body ratio. The right edge housing power and volume buttons while USB slot and 3.5 mm audio jack is located on the top.

HD Display with Gorilla Glass
Handset comes up with the 5.0 inches High Definition LCD with 294 ppi pixel density which is not crisp but clean enough to enjoy the visual content that is verifying the price. It could be better if company maintained its screen-to-body ratio above 70% which is 65.4%, Sunlight visibility is not so sharp but the text is readable in highest brightness. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is protecting the display from unwanted scratches.

Camera with Bokeh Effects
There is 13 MP Primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and a LED flashlight which is quite average and in low ambient lighting conditions the photos comes out more vulnerable. Camera also supports real time Bokeh effect for artistic photography. It can also shoot Full HD videos at 1080p resolutions. 5 MP secondary camera is also not up to the mark but takes some acceptable selfies if the light is sufficient.

Entry Level Processor
This phone packs up with MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz which is obviously an entry level CPU coupled with the 2 GB RAM offers a decent performance for day to day tasks while the phone starts lagging in multitasking and heavy apps. This is a decent option only for those users which are not in powerful tasks.

Battery Backup
Company offering a 2500 mAh battery inside the phone where the back cover and battery of the device is removable, the backup is not so impressive at all but considering its price it's fine. As according to claim of the company this handset offers 9 Hours Talktime, 18 Hours Music Playback and Up to 5 Hours Video Playback
