Review of LG G5 at a Glance:-In the series of launching flagship device of LG in 2016, they have introduced LG G5 with stunning innovative built quality. This device is definitely going to compete with most popular Flagship Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S7. Phone has lots premium features like Android v6.0.1 (Marshmallow), Snapdragon 820, 5.3 inches display, 16 MP primary and 8 MP secondary camera, 32 GB internal memory, 200GB SD card support, 4 GB RAM and 3000 mAh battery.
I personally think the first impression is not a wow factor, although the phone is built with metallic uni-body and coated with some material. I am not saying the design is bad; but the shining glamorous effect is somewhere lost. Although LG added a lots of things that can make phone some innovative piece of engineering. Yes, they have launched the device with new modular concept where you can change the hardware to some restricted extent from the Smartphone. There are two devices introduced in market that are compatible with phone i.e. LG Cam Plus and the LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play.
Where LG Cam Plus adds the ease of photography by Zoom, Click buttons and battery. Whereas Hi-Fi Plus is a 32-bit DAC and headphone amp, which features an ES9028C2M + Sabre9602 chipset for supporting music up to 384KHz.The DAC features its own headphone jack, speaker and the USB Type-C charging port. Apart from the modular concept the hybrid dual-SIM slot is on the right, and the volume buttons and module lock switch are on the left. The 3.5mm socket and Infrared blaster are at the top.
LG efforts to make a vibrant display is really praiseworthy, Phone has 5.3 inches display which is one of the most optimized size between 5.0’ and 5.5’. Display also featuring quite attractive configuration such as WQHD (2560x1440) resolutions and 554 ppi of display density. The colour in phone looks natural neither too much exposed nor too fades. However lots of people love to have a sharp colour like in AMOLED display but LG choose to stick with more natural colours. Watching videos or browsing is fun in the device as everything is so crisp. To protect display from the accidental scratches or other unfortunate incident there is protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
When you come up with the most powerful, advance and latest chipset of time; there is least chance of performance hassle. LG G5 is packed with Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 Quad-core processor which is clocked in 2.15 GHz. Its performance in gaming and multitasking is perfectly smooth, however there is little warm noticed in graphically intensive games and 4K video recording but it is not up to the level of trouble, this device is great option for all the heavy gamers.
The impression of photographs taken from the 16 MP camera of LG G5 perfectly natural(thanks to the color spectrum sensor), this is good to see that it has 2 rear camera and phone also has Wide angle camera lens that can cover large area in a single frame. The other good thing about camera is compatibility of OIS, Stabilization is amazing for photographs even for recording 4K videos OIS is doing great job. The night shots are also fine but here if we compare with Samsung Galaxy S7 than definitely night photographs are better in Samsung because of larger aperture. 8MP front camera is also good, not going to disappoint you.
Battery life of LG G5 is mediocre as it is 3000 mAh capacity, which is removable also. A moderate user easily can take full day battery backup. As suggested by the data it has 3.5 hours SOT with full brightness.

Why to buy and Final words about LG G5The LG G5 is one of the most advance Smartphone for 2016 with lots of quality features like Very smooth LG's Optimus UI 5.0, Advance camera having wide viewing angle, Modular concept design and many more. Although there is two downside as according to me; first one is that it doesn’t have a stunning eye-catching design although it can be my own perception and other one is Hybrid SIM, as there is limited 32 GB internal memory so either you have to choose SIM 2 or SD card; apart from these points phone has super quality although there are already strong competitor in market like Samsung Galaxy S7, Xiaomi Mi 5 and Apple iPhone 6S.
