Xiaomi Redmi 3 Review: Price, Specs, Pros and Cons

Review of Xiaomi Redmi 3 at a Glance:-

Just after launching Redmi Note 3 with a grand success in the market Xiaomi launched Redmi 3 a beast Smartphone with cost nearly about $110 in china. However it is also distributed in some other countries. As according to its price tag phone has amusing specs viz. 5.0 inches IPS display, Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor, 13 MP rear and 5 MP primary camera, 16 GB ROM and 128GB external SD support, 2GB RAM and 4100 mAh battery.
This is great to see astonishingly crafted metallic Smartphone in such a budget range offers a premium look. Its sturdy materials, elegant curve and optimized 5 inches size feels great in the hand. Right corner houses volume rockers and power button with excellent tactile feedback, SD card and SIM slot on left, Top has 3.5 mm jack and bottom houses USB cable slot, there is IR blaster also located on the top of the Smartphone.
Nowadays Full HD become standard display resolution for most of the Smartphone however Redmi 3 has HD (720p) but this 5 inches display is Crisp and video watching experience is pleasurable. Adaptive brightness feature worked very well. Although the maximum brightness seems slightly insufficient for operating phone in direct sunlight. We are also little disappointed about not having any scratch resistance glass for the protection.
On such a price point Xiaomi offers one of the best performing camera, it is not good as premium phone; but kind of photo quality is enough to satisfy you for bucks you spent on this Smartphone. Phone is backed with 13MP primary shooter with PDAF.

Autofocus doing great job for quick focus helps in snapping photos within minimum time interval. However photos looks oversaturated in sunny days. Primary camera is quite good in this non-flagship phone. There is 5 MP front camera which has wide viewing angle covers a lot more area for selfies.
The responsibility of performance is backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, which works pretty well in many circumstances. In the relation of its price phone is capable to run many of heavy games but with some hiccups. Non High Graphic intensive games don’t have any problem with this device. For a mediocre user it is a perfect device with great power balance.
Everyone will love a phone that can provide a long lasting battery; in this case Redmi 3 is quite impressive. Relatively smaller size (5.0’) and 720p resolution helps more to retain the power for a longer time. So any mediocre user can have battery backup of 2 days from this phone.

The Xiaomi phones are trying to deliver quality for budget conscious people and Redmi 3 is other good example of amusing phone. There is nothing wrong with this phone which can repel a potential buyer except some minor cons already mentioned above.  The metallic built looks premium in hand, performance is satisfactory and camera quality is good. If this is not sufficient there is huge 4100 mAh battery. what else you can expect in such price although there are alternative also available such as Asus Zenfone Max, LeTV (LeEco) Le 1S and Redmi Note 3.
