Review of Micromax Canvas 6 at a Glance:-The canvas series is lifeline for the Micromax mobile and they have launched companies most premium phone Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro. Canvas 6 is first fingerprint sensor mobile from Micromax. Phone has some salutary features like Mediatek MT6753 1.3 GHz processor, 5.5 inches IPS FHD display, 13 MP primary and 8 MP secondary camera, Fingerprint sensor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM with 128 GB SD card support and 3000 mAh battery.
The phone design is pretty decent with relatively sharp edges and corners. The built quality is not an issue as it is made up of metallic uni-body. This is not impressive to see the large bezel area around the main display to which Micromax should minimize. On the contrary there is primary camera on the backside in a black strip on the top. Power and volume rockers are fixed in its traditional place on the right side. Bottom houses a USB slot and speaker however the top has 3.5 mm Earphone jack.
We don’t have any objection against the display quality in Canvas 6; The 5.5 inch display has resolution of 1080p and a pretty decent display density of 401ppi. This configuration resulting into vibrant and crisp picture on screen. Visibility is also sharp enough to perform without any problem in sunlight. Don’t know why Micromax ignored adding the Gorilla Glass protection for the display. The loudspeaker is not so loud although volume is just enough to entertain yourself in a room.
As we all know Canvas 4, Canvas 5 and Now Canvas 6 is flagship Smartphone from the Micromax but they are still lagging way behind compare to flagship phone of counterpart brands. Canvas 6 has 2.0 GHz Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 processor as according to GSMArena while official Micromax site shows it has 1.3GHz MT6753 Octa-core processor; interestingly the official site of MediaTek claims MT6753 has 1.5 GHz octa-core processor.
Phone has MediaTek 1.3GHz MT6753 processor which is mediocre in performance. It is running all the apps smoothly in default state but when you start loading handset with apps and games smoothness become protracted. The light Games in phone can run easily but the graphic intensive games lagging, and phone starts heating up if you keep playing games or using data for long time.
Micromax fitted a 13 MP primary camera with Phase detection Autofocus (PDAF). The good thing about the phone is that it is capable to snap the crisp picture in daylight although dim light photos become noisy. Sometime even photos taken in sunlight looks like overexposed. There is 8 MP front camera which is also like primary camera just OK type.
On other hand there is 3000 mAh battery, that is enough to backup your charge for 1 full day but intense gaming and using internet drain the battery faster; which is also causes heating in device .

Why to buy and Final words about Micromax Canvas 6Obviously Micromax added many more features than last canvas 5 phone but now in 2016 story is not same there is very hard completion in market, a lots of Chinese phone with better features than canvas 6 are already in market even in lower price. Canvas 6 doesn’t have even a single feature to which we can praise above average quality; it is just other phone with mediocre features in relatively affordable price range. There are many alternatives like Coolpad Note 3, Redmi Note 3, LeTV 1S and Moto G4 Plus with better specs in lower or similar price.
We also Feel that Micromax Canvas 6 Pro is relatively better in performance as it has 2 GHz MT6795M Octa Core Processor with 4 GB RAM.
