Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Review: Price, Specs, Pros and Cons

Review of Sony Xperia Z5 Premium at a Glance:-

The 4K resolution Televisions are still a new feature for the most of the population but in fast pacing word Sony launches first 4K Smartphone in its flagship series Sony Xperia Z5 Premium with Snapdragon 810 clock speed of 2.0 GHz, 23 MP & 5 MP camera, 5.5 inches display having 806 ppi ultra density, 32 GB ROM with 200 GB Ext. SD card support, 3 GB RAM and 3430 mAh battery. Here we will have Short review, Pros and Cons of Sony Xperia Z5 Premium.

Lots of Smartphone brands snapping handset design with some curve, arcs and edges, in Xperia Z5 Premium they made it looks like a magic Box, bezels around the screen is quite large, and the size  can be huge for some people to handle large phone having 180 grams of the weight. The front and back panels of the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium are Gorilla Glass; sides gloss black-coated metal.

The main focus of Sony is concentrated in display of this device; they tried to make it best as possible. The 5.5 inches display has 806 ppi display density with resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. Many people complaining about the phone that they didn’t provide AMOLED display in handset; Sony has developed its own TRILUMINOS™ Display (quantum dot technology) for the Smartphone. It’s obvious that this display is not showing pleasant colours as AMOLED because TRILUMINOS display shows more natural colours.
23 MP camera with Hybrid Autofocus is master shot taker for the photography enthusiast people, we also noticed that the shots taken in daylight are quite clear and sharp but low light photos are feeble; for the stabilisation purpose phone has SteadyShot function but we are still missing OIS for camera because sometimes it makes photos blurred and shaky. This is great to see the 4K recorded videos in this phone can also capture the photos of 2160 x 3840 pixels from any moment.
As on performance phone handled by the Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with clock speed of 2 GHz; phone can easily proceed multitasking and heavy games pretty well, but we are not getting quick response like Nexus 6P and hTC one A9. The phone by default is loaded with Android Lollipop and we are hoping for the better performance after Marshmallow updates as promised by the company.
3430 mAh battery seems insufficient for a 5.5 inches 4K resolution phone, for intensive user the battery is not able to run for a full day but for an average user it can give backup of a full day.

Why to buy and Final words about

This is one of the best phone model released in 2015, and first Smartphone with 4K display. 23 MP camera is just awesome for the daylight photography. Battery is average with normal battery backup. Stabilisation is not as smart as in Nexus 5X and Apple iPhone 6S. The Sony Xperia Z5 is also a great alternate with less compact display.
